A young poor boy who was begging from door to door to feed his hungry stomach, decided he would ask for a meal at d next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened d door. Instead of a meal, he asked 4 a glass of water, d woman thought he looked hungry, so she brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it slowly, & then asked how much do I owe u? U don't owe me anything, she replied. Mother has taught us never to accept pay for kindness. He said, then I thank u from my heart………………………Years later, that young woman became critically ill, d local doctors were battling because they couldn't cure her, they finally sent her to d big city, where they called specialists 2 study her rare illness. Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for d consultation, when he heard d name of d town where she came from, a strange light filled his eyes. Immediately, he rose & went down the hall of d hospital to her room. He recognized her at once. He went back to d consultation room determined to do his best to save her life. From that day, he gave special attention to that case. After a long struggle, d battle was won! Dr. Kelly requested d business office to pass d final bill to him for approval. He looked at it, then wrote something on d bill. It was sent to her room, d woman feared opening it, for she was sure it might take d rest of her life to pay for it all. Finally she looked, & noticed something was written at d edge of d note, paid in full with a glass of milk. Tears filled her eyes as she immediately remembered....

It'll spread into your work, into your morality, into your entire being. There are no limits. There are plateaus, but you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. If it kills you, it kills you. Indian man single-handedly plants a 1,360-acre forest

In 1979, Payeng, then 16, encountered a large number of reptiles that had died after floods washed them onto the tree-less sandbar. He started working on the forest in 1980 when the social forestry division of Golaghat district launched a scheme of tree plantation on 200 hectares at Aruna Chapori situated at a distance of 5 km from Kokilamukh in Jorhat district. Molai was one of the labourers who worked in that project which was completed after five years. He chose to stay back after the completion of the project even after other workers left. He not only looked after the plants, but continued to plant more trees on his own, in an effort to transform the area into a forest.

The forest, which came to be known as Molai forest, now houses Bengal tigers, Indian rhinoceros, over 100 deer and rabbits besides apes and several varieties of birds, including a large number of vultures. There are several thousand trees, including valcol, arjun (Terminalia arjuna), ejar (Lagerstroemia speciosa), goldmohur (Delonix regia), koroi (Albizia procera), moj (Archidendron bigeminum) and himolu (Bombax ceiba). Bamboo covers an area of over 300 hectares.

A herd of around 100 elephants regularly visits the forest every year and generally stay for around six months. They have given birth to 10 calves in the forest in recent years.

His efforts became known to the authorities in 2008, when forest department officials went to the area in search of a herd of 115 elephants that had retreated into the forest after damaging property in the village of Aruna Chapori, which is about 1.5 km from the forest. The officials were surprised to see such a large and dense forest and since then the department has regularly visited the site.

A few years back, poachers tried to kill the rhinos staying in the forest but failed in their attempt due to Molai who alerted department officials. Officials promptly seized various articles used by the poachers to trap the animals.

Molai is ready to manage the forest in a better way and to go to other places of the state to start a similar venture. Now his aim is to spread his forest to another sand bar inside of Brahmaputra .

Personal life

Jadav Payeng belongs to a tribe called "Mishing" in Assam, India. He lives in a small hut in the forest. Binita, his wife, and his 3 children (two sons and a daughter) accompany him. He has cattle and buffalo on his farm and sells the milk for his livelihood, which is his only source of income. In a recent interview he revealed that he lost around 100 of his cows and buffaloes to the tigers in the forest, but blames the people who carry out large scale encroachment and destruction of forests as the root cause of the plight of wild animals.

A group of frogs was traveling through the woods, and two of them fell into a deep pit.

All the other frogs gathered around the pit. When they saw how deep the pit was, they told the two frogs that they were as good as dead.

The two frogs ignored the comments and tried to jump out of the pit with all of their might.

The other frogs kept telling them to stop, that they were as good as dead.

Finally, one of the frogs took heed to what the other frogs were saying and gave up. He fell down and died.

The other frog continued to jump as hard as he could. Once again, the crowd of frogs yelled at him to stop the pain and just die.

He jumped even harder and finally made it out. When he got out, the other frogs said, "Did you not hear us?"

The frog explained to them that he was deaf. He thought they were encouraging him the entire time.

1. There is power of life and death in the tongue. An encouraging word to someone who is down can lift them up and help them make it through the day.

2. A destructive word to someone who is down can be what it takes to kill him or her.

Be careful of what you say. Speak life to those who cross your path. The power of words.... it is sometimes hard to understand that an encouraging word can go such a long way. Anyone can speak words that tend to rob another of the spirit to continue in difficult times.
Special is the individual who will take the time to encourage another.

From nobody to Super Duper Star

This is one of the MOST MOTIVATIONAL life stories I have come across.

Sylvestar Stallone is one the most famous American Movie stars.. With characters like Rocky and Rambo he is a household name in the hearts of millions.

During birth, a wrong gynecological procedure caused Stallone to have one sided paralysis.

At school, his middle class being and his facial paralysis became a think for others to make fun off.

He joined body-building because he wanted to frighten those who bullied him.

Slowly he started thinking of a career in movies.

While struggling to get a role, he even started in a soft-core porn movie.

Around 1974, he had a pregnant wife, a dog that he loved a lot, a lot of bills to pay and no success in his movie career.

What he still had was a belief in his dream that he will make it big.

Soon a time came when he went broke. He was heavily under debt. Restless, anxious, stressed and still loaded with hope that he will make it big.

Things got so bad that he had sell his wife’s jewelry and ended homeless. Sleeping at the New York Bus station for 3 days.

The cold American winter forced him to choose between electricity and his dog. He stood outside a local store and sold his dog for $25.

Two weeks later, on TV he watched a boxing match between Mohammed Ali and Chuck Wepner. That match was like a flash of divine inspiration… For the next 20 hours he sat and wrote the script of what today is a cult movie, ROCKY.

In the words of stallone himself, “After nearly 1500 rejections”, he got a production house to offer $125,000 for the script.

Despite the poverty, pains, pregnant wife and lost dog… His dream was to STAR in the movie has the MAIN LEAD.

In an era when hero’s were common man and spoke fluently, a body builder with a facial paralysis that made him stammer while speaking.. Made Stallone the wrong choice for any role.
The studio Bluntly rejected his offer… And Stallone went back home with another failure.

A few weeks later,the studio offered him $250,000 for the just the script, and not him.
He refused.
Soon they offered $350,000 for the script but not him.
At that time everyone was pushing him to accept.. It would be MAD not to do so.. He was making a fortune. He still refused.

Someone in the studio really loved his script, and as fortune favors the brave.. They finally accepted to $35,000 for the script and him as the lead star.

The rest as they say is history!
The movie was made for $1 million and went to make around $200 million.
It won the Oscar for Best Picture, Best Directing and Best Film Editing.
Stallone was a “bankable” hero for the next 20yrs, till the late 90′s… with his movies having made billions of dollars.

And what did he do with the first $35,000?

He stood outside the liquor store were he sold his dog for 3 days. Identified the man who had bought it, and finally got him back for $15,000.

MORAL –
NEVER LET THE HOPE GO AWAY. NEVER STOP DREAMING.

KNOW WHAT YOU ARE CAPABLE OFF…
DON’T DREAM SOMETHING THAT’S ABSURD.. HAVE A REALISTIC DREAM BASED ON WHAT YOU CAN DO.
MAKE SURE ITS A VALID DREAM… AND THEN BELIEVE IN THE DREAM.
LOVE THE DREAM.
LOVE YOURSELF FOR THE DREAM.

TIMES WILL BE BAD.. REALLY BAD…
